DESTRUKSI KECEMASAN AKAN PERPUSTAKAAN

Mahasiswa baru yang memasuki dunia literasi informasi di Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi terkadang merasa khawatir dengan mekanisme dan aturan yang ada di perpustakaan. Kecemasan akan perpustakaan disebut library anxiety. Kecemasan yang dialami oleh individu ketika menggunakan perpustakaan diakibatkan berbagai hal, baik itu kerana ketakutan menggunakan fasilitas perpustakaan, ada trauma tersendiri, ataupun masalah psikologi lainnya yang dapat menghalangi mahasiswa untuk memanfaatkan perpustakaan secara efektif dan efisien. Kajian ini dilakukan pada Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga yang mempunyai program pendidikan pemakai khusus untuk mahasiswa baru. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga dalam memberikan layanan pendidikan pemakai untuk menghadapi kecemasan pemustaka. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi kasus yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan didukung oleh literatur yang berhubungan. Data diambil dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pengaruh Fasilitas Perpustakaan terhadap Minat Baca Siswa di Perpustakaan MAN Curup Rejang Lebong

The purpose of this study was to determine library facilities, the level of interest in reading and the effect of limited library facilities on students' reading interest at MAN Curup Rejang Lebong. This study used a quantitative research approach which showed the effect of variable X on variable Y. The population in this study were 541 students of MAN Curup Rejang Lebong. The sample in this study was 54 people or 10%. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. While technical data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis techniques using Simple Linear Regression. With the results of the study showing that the library facilities in Curup Rejang Lebong MAN were in the good category with a percentage rate of 79.80 percent. The reading interest level of students at MAN Curup Rejang Lebong is in the high category with a percentage rate of 79.76 percent. This can be proven by the results of simple linear regression, namely the results obtained f count> f table, namely 71.300> 4.08, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of library facilities on students' reading interest at MAN Curup Rejang Lebong. &nbsp

Analisis Karakteristik Literasi Generasi Alpha Dan Implikasinya Terhadap Layanan Perpustakaan

The alpha generation has creative, passionate, dynamic, leadership, and confident characters in making future career decisions, inseparable from technology in completing their work. Technological developments and pandemic conditions drastically changed the values and concepts of the line of education in carrying out teaching and learning activities and in the transfer of information. In library services, for example, major changes are needed in managing and disseminating information to respond to these conditions. This is to provide a balance in adjusting the style and character of the alpha generation in obtaining information. The purpose of this study is to analyze the character of the alpha generation so as to find patterns of information needs. In addition, it aims to determine the implications for library services. In this study, the study used was a literature study. From the description of the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the alpha generation is a multitasking generation, digital native, does not like rules, is creative, and flexible, connects, and collaborates as well as practicum. While the context of the information needs of the alpha generation tends towards information in digital formats and direct, applicable and easy information to be directly shared through social media. The implications of library services are expected to adjust the pattern of service performance to meet the information needs of the alpha generation including: changes in expectations of access to library information services that focus on idealistic and fast and sophisticated personal convenience, readiness for data appearance that is ready to share or share data directly, use of social media for promotion and communication lines across generations, the competence of librarians as professional data analysts is not only managing and maintaining but also participating in generating and repackaging information

PENGARUH ROLE AMBIGUITY DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KECENDERUNGAN BURNOUT TENAGA PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI YOGYAKARTA

The purposes of this thesis are: (1) To know the level of role ambiguity ambiguity of staff of Yogyakarta State University Library. (2) To know the level of work motivation of staff of Yogyakarta State University Library. (2) To know the level of burnout tendency of staff of Yogyakarta State University Library. (3) To know the influence of role ambiguity on the burnout tendency of staff of Yogyakarta State University Library. (4) To know the influence of work motivation on burnout tendency of staff of Yogyakarta State University Library. (6) To know the influence of role ambiguity and work motivation on burnout tendency of staff of Yogyakarta State University Library. This research has two independent variables, they are role ambiguity and work motivation, and one dependent variable, it is burnout tendency. This research is a quantitative research conducted on 51 respondents. This research was conducted on all staff of Yogyakarta State University Library, or it is also called population research. The data collection technique is done through questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research are: (1) Role ambiguity variable has an average of 3.27 so that it can be said that the library staff of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta have very low ambiguity role level. (2) Job motivation variable has an average value of 3.06 so it is concluded that the staff of State University of Yogyakarta Library has a high level of work motivation. (3) Burnout tendency variable has an average value of 3.31, and it can be concluded that the staff of Yogyakarta State University has a very low burnout tendency level. (4) The influence of role ambiguity on burnout tendency of staff of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Library is shown by determination coefficient value of 27.8% and the correlation coefficient value of 0.527, indicating a positive and a weak influence between role ambiguity variable on burnout tendency. (5) The influence of work motivation on the tendency of burnout of staff of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Library is shown by determination coefficient value of 29.9% and correlation coefficient value of 0.547, indicating a positive and a weak influence between work motivation variable on burnout tendency. (6) The influence of role ambiguity and work motivation on the burnout tendency of staff of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Library is shown by coefficient of determination of 34.9% and the correlation coefficient of 0,591, indicating a positive and a weak influence between the role ambiguity variable on burnout tendencies. Recommendation: Yogyakarta State University Library should be able to provide knowledge related to job evaluation, and giving awards such as praise or awards, and giving opportunity to follow library seminar, proceedings, and library comparative study

The results showed that the library of SMAN 1 Rejang Lebong has carried out one of the cultural functions. The Rejang Corner Service is located on the 2nd floor of the SMAN 1 Rejang Lebong Library. The activities from the rejang corner are (1) the display of rejang traditional goods, (2) the rejang corner is included in the reference service, (3) the obstacles include lack of funds, lack of support from related parties, and difficulty in getting goods. related to rejang customs

CURATION AND MANAGEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE THROUGH LIBRARIES

Libraries, museums and archives hold valuable collections in a variety of media, presenting a vast body of knowledge rooted in the history of human civilisation. These form the repository of the wisdom of great works by thinkers of past and the present. The holdings of these institutions are priceless heritage of the mankind as they preserve documents, ideas, and the oral and written records. To value the cultural heritage and to care for it as a treasure bequeathed to us by our ancestors is the major responsibility of libraries. The past records constitute a natural resource and are indispensable to the present generation as well as to the generations to come. Libraries preserve the documentary heritage resources for which they are primarily responsible. Any loss of such materials is simply irreplaceable. Therefore, preserving this intellectual, cultural heritage becomes not only the academic commitment but also the moral responsibility of the librarians/information scientists, who are in charge of these repositories. The high quality of the papers and the discussion represent the thinking and experience of experts in their particular fields. The contributed papers also relate to the methodology used in libraries in Asia to provide access to manuscripts and cultural heritage. The Roles of Archive Institution on Indonesia Public Information Disclosure In Digital Era

Disclosure of Public Information Policy is a form of government awareness regarding the importance of information in determining policy. Disclosure of this information is intended to provide openness for people to take part and supervise the government and institutional policy. Archives institution is known as one of the managers of information which has primary task is to store various important recordings to be used appropriately. This paper aims to analyze the role of archive institution in public information disclosure in Indonesia, and its conduct regarding it.
